The Founding Partners of Bauhinia Capital have a combination of over 90 years of experience in the hospitality, property, and financial services industries. During the past 27 years in the Asia Pacific region Bauhinia Capital has undertaken over 50 relevant projects and within the hospitality industry with a value of more than US$7 billion. Bauhinia Capital also advises clients on initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, private and public fund raising, debt restructuring and asset sales.
The core of our approach is the identification of key thematics and trends in the market we believe offer exceptional value which may be overlooked by the current consensus opinion. Through decades of experience in the region, the partners have developed and established a widespread network of contacts in the real estate and hospitality sectors. It is through these connections the partners are able to source transactions that are both ‘off market’ and near the bottom in pricing to offer the best opportunities for capital appreciation and total investment returns.
Bauhinia Capital has recently launched it’s first fund in partnership with an established property investment management group, the Asia Hospitality Opportunity Fund. As its name suggests the fund will invest in existing, operational hospitality assets in the Asia Pacific region, specifically Indonesia, Thailand and the Maldives.
